In our laboratory, we are challenging research in a variety of fields. For example, we are developing a sensor embedded electronic karate armor to evaluate the magnitude of the force and the location where the force was applied in real time. We are also researching the sounds from the Sanshin, a traditional Okinawan musical instrument, and high-strength synthetic fiber rope for wire robots.
