We are conducting research on acoustic emission testing, ultrasonic testing, and electromagnetic induction testing. We are working on methods to evaluate machine integrity and fracture source location from acoustic emission generated from materials, and on analyzing ultrasonic wave propagation in CFRP with carbon fibers having curvature. We are also working on the application of electromagnetic induction methods to CFRP and non-conductive materials. We are conducting joint research with the national project and JAXA.
