Due to the effects of the coronavirus, this year’s graduation ceremony has been drastically changed compared to previous years.
Undergraduate students received their degrees in their own laboratories, and Todoroki and Mizutani laboratories held the ceremony under the cherry blossom trees. In the Todoroki-Mizutani Laboratory, the degree certificates were collected and handed over to the graduates by the primary supervisor. In Todoroki-Mizutani Laboratory, the degree certificates were collected and handed over again to the graduates by the primary supervisor. Since Dr. A was the valedictorian of the mechanical course, he was handed the degree certificate three times that day, by the president, the head of the mechanical course, and me, the primary supervisor.
